Branding - Out with the old... In with the new.

Did you notice the new logo from Google?

People change the look of their logo and brand for many different reasons, either for repositioning in the market or changing with the times to make the logo more modern.

Companies need to stay relevant to their target market, keeping up with the times and keep pace with changing customer needs. Technology is constantly evolving and the rate of change often exponential. This is a reason why brands that have a relation to technology, rebrand frequently.

Rebranding could be small scale as some subtle changes to the company or product graphics, or major as a full name and culture change. Your business may be keeping up with economic and market changes but is your brand keeping pace?

Who can remember the changes of these other logos over the years?
